Our Leather selection couldn´t be greener: "Piñatex is one of those rare products of design thinking that hits all the sustainability buttons at once: it is a material that is completely cradle to cradle, it substitutes leather that has a very heavy environmental and welfare impact, and it brings new income streams to subsistence farmers, allowing them to fully utilise their crops.”

  • Piñatex is a non-woven textile made from waste pineapple leaf fibre suitable for use across fashion & accessories, soft interiors and automotive applications.

    It is PETA approved and a registered brand with The Vegan Society.

    Piñatex is not 100% biodegradable. The substrate/base material of Piñatex (made from 80% pineapple leaf fibre, 20% PLA) is biodegradable under controlled industry conditions.
